Tarnished

Taken down the twirls and twists of the natural paths from the water that was tarnished by the chemicals that sought to destroy the innocence of the unknown within us. Unexposed for decades to the slightest sight of light we sat in the dark shielded from the ultraviolent rays that now bared down on our bare bones buried deep within our bodies.  The first unfurling has found us and we succumb to submission of a new identity. A silence awakened from these unseen sensations leaves a lingering longing for our late latent life left to loss.
